Hockey drills and skills by PTHockey: Poller transition SAG

In this Pro training video we show the importance of Small Area Games (SAG). SAGs are a key component of hockey player development as they incorporate individual skills and tactics as well as a collective aspect. They are a great and fun way to incorporate what you have been working on during a practice or a skill session. By modifying rules you can use the same game to work on different aspects. Here we had worked on breakouts and forecheck. We wanted our players to come low to support on the transition and the defensive team to quickly force the play. You implement rules where you want a stretch pass to favour an even quicker transition.
